The verb 'querer' means 'want wanting' and it's used to talk about what things we want
'Quiero' means 'I want'; 'quieres' means 'you want'; 'quiere' means she, he, it wants'.
The verb 'querer' is often followed by an indefinite article 'un/una/unos/unas'.

'I want', 'you want' and 'she, he, it wants' have the same stem as the infinitive, querer, so you just need to change the verb endings.

'Quiero', 'quieres' and 'quiere' are spelt slightly different to the infinitive 'querer'. They have an extra 'i'.
