- Think: reflecting on our performance and discussing tactics can help create more attacking opportunities in the game.
- Feel: encouraging your teammates when they drop the ball, or make a bad pass, demonstrates excellent integrity
- Connect: playing by the rules consistently shows respect for ourselves and our opponents.
Common misconception
Pupils think they can pass the ball forward. Pupils get confused with the meaning of passing the ball backwards and think that means passing over their head, rather then in relation to their attack.
Remind pupils of the rule that passes must go laterally or backwards, so the player receiving must not go ahead of the player in possession of the ball.
Keywords
