Common misconception

Some children may mix up the direction of left and right.

Share different strategies for remembering left and right, such as wearing a wristband on your left, using your left hand to make an l-shape or relating left and right to which hand you write with.

Keywords

Left - A word used to describe position or the direction of a turn. When facing North, left is to the West.
Right - A word used to describe position or the direction of a turn. When facing North, right is to the East.
Above - Above shows the position of an object is higher than something else.
Below - Below shows the position of an object is lower than something else.
Between - Between describes the position of an object being in the space separating two other objects.
